One of the highlights of my garden collection are my vintage inspired hand colored and antiqued wood pendants with delicate bird and flower drawings. Based on original paintings, each one is a unique work of art. Small differences are normal, but that is part of their charm and makes yours more special.

Also very popular are my bird nest pendants. Bestsellers for four years in a row, each nest is wrapped, not in prescise circles, but in random layers just like a real bird building it's nest. This makes each one utterly unique and special, just like the wearer.

	Happiness: Bois au Verde Beauty This necklace epitomizes our design philosophy: Graceful - Feminine - Unique. One of our "Happiness" bird pendants designed as a gemstone necklace using 100% sterling silver. The pendant is a vintage inspired wood pendant with a charming hand drawn bird illustration. Wood and drawing have been antiqued for a timeworn look and then sealed to preserve the delicate bird painting. Natural wood grain and texture. I wanted this pendant to look really antique - something passed down through time for 50 years or more - so I really distressed it by scoring and rubbing the wood with metal tools. I finished this with a sanded soft gold wash, a little like worn gilding. If you are uncomfortable with artificially aged wood (ie. visible tool score marks) this is not the piece for you. But if you want the look of something discovered in a chest in the attic after 200 years, Ah, beautiful! Necklace is moss agate gemstone and Swarovski crystal with a sterling silver lobster clasp and a 2" sterling silver extender chain ending in a moss agate and Swarovski crystal dangle.
